Meet Christina

From athlete to advocate for mindful movement, Christina Hyrkas teaches yoga to help others feel whole — in body, mind, and spirit.

After over a decade as a competitive swimmer and coach, Christina knew discipline, drive, and pushing physical limits. But when that chapter closed, she found herself searching — for stillness, for balance, and for something that didn’t demand more, but offered restoration. That’s when yoga found her.

She’s been practicing for over 10 years now, and what began as a way to stay active quickly evolved into a deeply grounding, life-changing ritual. Yoga became her anchor — helping her manage anxiety, release stress, and reconnect with her inner calm. It gave her tools she never learned in athletics or corporate life — tools she knew she had to share.

In 2018, she completed her 200-Hour Teacher Training at The Yoga Skyros Academy and has been teaching ever since. Christina has guided students across the U.S., creating accessible, empowering classes that meet people where they are — physically, mentally, and emotionally.

She also spent years working in high-stress tech sales, and knows firsthand how easy it is to lose yourself in the grind. That’s why she’s passionate about helping others build consistent, sustainable practices that support them beyond the mat.

Yoga transformed her life, now she helps others create the space to transform theirs.

“Christina is a great teacher.
Always smiling and spreading her joy.
I encourage all to join her class.”
